A beautiful room is available in a traditional detached period home, set within its own fabulous private grounds. The house enjoys a superb location, with Dublin City Centre just 15 minutes away by car or bus and Dublin City University accessible by bus directly from outside the house. With five bus routes right on the doorstep, excellent public transport is effortless, while both Clontarf and Killester train stations are within 10 minutes. The coast is also close by, with beautiful beaches just a 10–20 minute walk away, while shops, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, parks and other amenities are all within a five-minute walk. A wonderful combination of character, space, convenience and coastal living, with everything you need right on your doorstep.

We are a family of five, with three young adults, although one is currently away on Erasmus for two years. We also have another lovely young woman living with us who originally came to study here and has since decided to stay on — so our home has naturally become a relaxed and welcoming place for people to feel at home.

We are a very easy-going family and are looking for someone who will enjoy becoming part of the household while also being completely comfortable doing their own thing. We appreciate that everyone has their own routines, so there is no expectation to be constantly social — you can dip in and out as you please, enjoy your own space, study, read, watch TV or simply unwind. The house is very large, with plenty of room to find some peace and privacy when you want it.

For us, the most important thing is that the person who joins our home feels comfortable and gets on well with everyone. We are looking for someone friendly, considerate and relaxed who will naturally blend into our family life, creating an easy, happy and enjoyable home for everyone.
