Hi there, I’m Élie :)

I’m French, 33, and moving to Ireland for the next 18 months.

I’ve worked in hospitality for several years, and I’m planning to find a job in a local pub or café while preparing to return to university to study cognitive science and philosophy.

I’m a bit of an adventurer at heart, and I love exploring new places in my old Land Rover, which I’ve converted for camping.

My interests are pretty diverse: from science, philosophy and the humanities to music, technology and sports (especially parkour, swimming and snowboarding). I’m curious about pretty much anything that makes me think, question things or discover something new!

As a housemate, I’m respectful of other people’s space and routines, but I also genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I live with. I’d love to find a relaxed, friendly household where we can share experiences, have interesting conversations, and feel at home together.

What I’m looking for:

• A private double bedroom (not shared).
• Full access to a shared, equipped kitchen.
• A budget of up to €800/month, including bills.
• A home close to nature and walking trails, ideally in the countryside.
• A parking space.
• A stay of approximately 18 months, starting in November 2026.

I’m open to different locations, including small villages and more rural areas, as long as South Dublin remains within reasonable driving distance.
