I’m a PhD researcher starting this October at Maynooth University, relocating from abroad. I’m tidy, calm, and considerate in shared spaces, and I try to be an easy, low-drama housemate — respectful of others’ routines, quick to communicate if anything comes up, and happy to pitch in on keeping common areas clean and comfortable. As a full-time researcher, I’ll be spending a fair amount of time working quietly from home, so I bring a calm, steady presence to the house rather than a busy or noisy one. That said, I’m not one to shy away from a bit of fun now and then — I enjoy the occasional party or get-together and like a house where people can unwind together as well as respect each other’s quiet time. I’m looking for a stable, friendly living situation for the length of my studies and would be glad to be a reliable, respectful member of the household.
