Gerard Solís Díez

Hi, my name is Gerard and I’m 35 years old. I’m originally from Barcelona, where I’ve been working for the last 6 years as a civil servant at the Catalan Healthcare Service. My background is in health science. A great professional opportunity has come up in Dublin — I’ve been hired through HAYS to work as a Health researcher at the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA), a governmental health agency. I’ve started on July 1st, and I’m currently looking to rent a room. I’m a passionate health scientist, deeply interested in how innovative health technologies can improve patients’ lives. Outside of work, I enjoy trail running, playing chess, and padel. I also love reading about the ancient and modern history of Ireland, which I find fascinating. I’ve been renting for the past 14 years and have shared apartments both with flatmates and my partner over the last five years. I consider myself a tidy, routine-based, and sociable person.
